📢 Attention: GSTN’s Important Advisory on Reporting Values in Table 3.2 of GSTR-3B

The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) issued Advisory No. 604 on May 16, 2025, regarding the reporting of values in Table 3.2 of Form GSTR-3B.
🧾 Background
In its earlier advisory dated April 11, 2025, GSTN announced that the auto-populated values in Table 3.2 would become non-editable starting from the April 2025 tax period (i.e., returns to be filed in May 2025).
📌 Update
Since the announcement, GSTN has received several representations and grievances from taxpayers regarding this change. The authorities are actively reviewing these concerns and will address them appropriately.
✅ Current Status
To ensure taxpayer convenience and enable smooth return filing, GSTN has decided to keep Table 3.2 editable for now. Taxpayers should:
- Review the auto-populated entries
- Make corrections if needed
- File accurate and complete returns

GSTN will issue a separate notification once it finalizes and implements the changes on the GST Portal.
