The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued Notification No. G.S.R. 543(E) on September 06, 2024, announcing amendments to the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) Rules, specifically regarding the Manner of Appointment and other Terms and Conditions of Service for Chairperson and Members.

🔖 Key Amendments:

• Under the Companies Act, 2013, these amendments replace financial limits set in the 2018 rules:
• “₹4,50,000” revised to “₹5,62,500”
• “₹4,00,000” revised to “₹5,00,000”

These new rules take effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
