MCA Announces One-Time Fee Waiver Amid MCA21 System Upgrade
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued General Circular No. 01/2025, dated June 16, 2025, announcing a temporary waiver on additional fees for 13 specified e-forms. This move comes in light of the system migration from MCA21 Version 2 (V2) to Version 3 (V3).
Filing Downtime and Transition Timeline
To ensure a smooth rollout, the Ministry will temporarily disable specific e-forms from June 18 to July 13, 2025. This downtime will allow technical upgrades needed for the V3 system.
Fee Relaxation Period
Stakeholders can file the affected e-forms without paying additional fees if:
- The due date or resubmission date falls between June 18 and July 31, 2025 (inclusive), and
- The submission is completed by August 15, 2025.
This one-time waiver aims to reduce compliance burden during the transition.
MCA Encourages Timely Filing
The MCA urges all stakeholders to submit forms promptly once the new system is active. The updated e-forms and functionalities in MCA21 V3 are designed to improve the ease of compliance and reduce technical difficulties.
