The Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (MPGST) Department, through Notification No. CT-8-0007-2024-Sec-1-V-(CT)(22) dated October 04, 2024, has announced the establishment of Facilitation Centres for biometric-based Aadhaar authentication under sub-rule (4A) of Rule 8 of the MPGST Rules, 2017.

These Facilitation Centres are intended for applicants requiring biometric-based Aadhaar authentication, the taking of their photograph, and verification of original documents uploaded with the application for registration.

This notification will be effective from the date that the amendment to sub-rule (4A) of Rule 8 of the MPGST Rules, 2017—through Notification No. CT/8/0007/2024-Sec-1-05(CT)(19) dated August 8, 2024—comes into effect.
