Grievance Redressal Cell Set Up for GST Registration Issues in Delhi Zone
The Principal Chief Commissioner’s Office of CGST & CX, Delhi Zone, has launched a Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) to streamline the resolution of GST registration issues. This move follows CBIC Instruction No. 04/2025-GST, dated May 2, 2025.
Taxpayers under Central jurisdiction who face registration rejections or improper queries can now directly contact the jurisdictional Chief Commissioner. The department has issued Trade Notice No. 01/2025 on May 23, 2025, to formalize this process.
To raise complaints, taxpayers must email their concerns to grievance.cgstdelhi@gov.in. This dedicated email ID serves as a direct channel to the GRC, helping applicants get timely responses and improved clarity during the GST registration process.
In addition, the notice calls the attention of trade bodies, industries, field formations, and departmental officers to follow the CBIC’s instructions. It emphasizes that applicants who believe queries or rejections violate guidelines should not hesitate to escalate their grievances.
This step is part of a broader effort to make the GST registration process more transparent, accountable, and responsive. The Principal Chief Commissioner of CGST & CX, Delhi Zone, has approved this initiative to ensure smoother business compliance and faster resolution.
