The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has released Notification No. 71/2024-Customs (N.T.), dated October 29, 2024, revising the designated land route for trade between India and Bhutan via Ultapani. This amendment updates Notification No. 63/1994-Customs (N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962 and specifies a new route to streamline trade logistics along the India-Bhutan border.
🔹 Revised Route: The updated route now reads: “Road from Ultapani via Saralpara via Naharani (SSB Camp) to Sarpang District (Bhutan).” This route aims to facilitate more efficient trade operations, benefiting businesses and improving cross-border logistics.
