DGFT Extends Import Period for Yellow Peas under ITC(HS) Code 07131010

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Notification No. 29/2024-25 dated *September 13, 2024, extending the import period for *Yellow Peas under ITC(HS) Code 07131010 of Chapter 07 of the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule-I (Import Policy).

Key Highlights:

• The import period for Yellow Peas has been extended from *October 31, 2024, to *December 31, 2024.
• This extension is made under the powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of the *Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and in line with the provisions of the *Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.
• Previous notifications related to the import of Yellow Peas include Notification Nos. 50/2023 (dated 08.12.2023), 61/2023 (dated 23.02.2024), 04/2023 (dated 05.04.2024), and 12/2024-25 (dated 08.05.2024).

Effect of the Notification:

The import of Yellow Peas under ITC(HS) Code 07131010 will continue to be “Free” without a Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition and without *Port Restrictions, provided that import consignments have a *Bill of Lading (Shipped on Board) issued on or before *December 31, 2024. Additionally, the import must be registered under the *Online Import Monitoring System.

All other terms and conditions remain the same as per the previous notifications.
