CPC(TDS) Reprocesses FY 2023-24 TDS Returns, Removes Short Deduction Demands as per Circular 6/2024 Relaxation on PAN-Aadhaar Linkage

The CPC(TDS) has reprocessed the affected TDS returns and removed the short deduction demands from the returns for FY 2023-24, in accordance with the relaxation provided by Circular 6/2024. This relaxation pertains to higher TDS/TCS due to non-linkage of PAN and Aadhaar for transactions up to 31st March 2024, provided the PAN is linked with Aadhaar by 31st May 2024.
