DGFT Issues SOP/Guidelines for Voluntary Disclosure of Non-Compliance Related to Export of SCOMET Items

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Public Notice No. 40/2024-25, dated January 15, 2025, to notify the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/Guidelines for Voluntary Disclosure of Non-Compliance or Violations related to the export of SCOMET (Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment, and Technologies) items and associated regulations.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring greater transparency and compliance in the export of SCOMET items under Para 10.19 of the Handbook of Procedures (HBP), 2023.
