GST & Customs Pavilion Wins Bronze at IITF 2024 for Public Communication Excellence
The GST and Customs Pavilion by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has been honored with a Bronze Medal at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024. The award recognizes the Pavilion’s innovative efforts in Public Communication and Taxpayer Outreach, highlighting its role in making tax processes more accessible and engaging for the public.

Attracted over 85,000 visitors, resolving 687 GST and Customs queries and answering 4,514 general inquiries.
Tutorials on GST e-invoices, Aadhar-Based Biometric Authentication, and other topics were showcased in 12 languages.
- Interactive Displays:
Comprehensive exhibits, dynamic displays, and tutorial videos enhanced understanding of GST and Customs processes.
Featured 53 brochures on tax topics, now available for download on www.cbic.gov.in.
- CBIC Mascot:
Introduced the Red Indian Panda as the official mascot for IITF 2024.
- Innovative Activities:
A demonstration by Customs K9 “PARO” detecting narcotics drew significant attention.
- Helpdesk Support:
Staffed by experienced professionals, the Pavilion provided on-the-spot assistance for filing returns, resolving grievances, and understanding updates.
