Bihar GST Dept Extends Provisions of The Bihar Settlement of Taxation Disputes Act, 2024

The Bihar GST Department has issued a notification (S.O. 450) on September 12, 2024, extending the provisions of The Bihar Settlement of Taxation Disputes Act, 2024 for an additional six months. The extension will be in effect from September 15, 2024, to March 14, 2025.

This decision was made under the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Act, with the notification coming into force immediately. The extension aims to facilitate the settlement of taxation disputes within the state.
