Special measures for liquidation/rectification of Shipping Bill Errors of pending IGST Refund

The Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin, issued Public Notice No. 12/2024 on June 26, 2024, detailing measures to address IGST refund delays due to shipping bill errors from July 2017. Exporters can check their ICEGATE accounts for error codes such as SB001 to SB006. An IGST Refund Drive will be held from July 1 to July 15, 2024, prioritizing validated but pending refunds. Specific rectification procedures for errors SB002, SB005, SB006, and PFMS validation issues are outlined. Exporters are encouraged to participate, and difficulties can be reported to Deputy Commissioner Dinesh Damodaran.
