CBIC Amends Customs Notification, Adds Vizhinjam International Seaport for Import-Export in Kerala

The CBIC vide Notification No. 42/2024-Customs (N.T.) dated June 12, 2024 has amended Notification No. 62/1994-Customs (N.T.) dated November 21, 1994. In the Table against serial number 7 for Kerala, a new entry has been added. This includes the Vizhinjam International Seaport for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods.

In the said notification in the Table, against serial number 7 relating to the State of Kerala, in column (3) and (4), after item (8) in column (3) and the entries relating thereto in column (4), the following item and entries shall be inserted, namely: –
